BIOPOP

Description

BIOPOP was a project funded by the European Commission under the Sixth Framework Programme for Research, and aimed at developing new methods to communicate science to citizens. The main assumption was that young scientists, with the appropriate training, would communicate effectively without intermediaries with citizens and re-establish a broken link. The project has been extremely successful and developed dedicated training materials which can be found on my website.

This is also the first EU project I coordinated, when I was still a Ph.D. student at the University of Bologna.
